Research

For the IPC to confirm that our high standards coincide with accreditation and national agency standards, we utilize research conducted by teachers, governments and scholars.

Our extensive research has enabled the IPC to produce a research-based curriculum. The research, completed and compiled by industry experts, is organized in correlation with the IPC’s six core content learning areas, and published in literacy reviews. At the IPC, we also utilize established principles from several notable psychologists, academics and philosophers. Our literacy reviews, entitled Numeracy & Mathematics, Physical Development & Motor Skills, Social & Emotional Skills, Social Science, Technology & Science, Visual & Creative Arts, and Language Arts, can be found on our global site.

Stages of Research

How we research, and how we implement our findings.
Content Learning Areas
The IPC’s research has shown that there are six content learning areas that need to be covered to assist in a child’s thorough development. These six areas feature several sub-content learning areas.
Research
Through extensive research conducted by industry experts, the IPC has developed a curriculum that is Objective Based, Inquiry Based, and Play Based. An objective-based curriculum evaluates student progress so areas of concern can be addressed. An inquiry-based curriculum maintains the interest of young minds. A play-based curriculum allows children comfort in familiar experiences.
Peer Review
The IPC ensures that all materials are examined, assessed and revised by academic peers and colleagues, guaranteeing rigor.
Development
The IPC believes that the pace at which children develop varies from child to child. We therefore do not assign children levels based on age, but on skill.
Editorial Review
The IPC mandates that research materials undergo a rigorous proofreading and revision process to ensure comprehension by the international community.
Published
The IPC has summarized its research made it available to the public for review, download and print, in the form of Literacy Reviews. The IPC also prepares and distributes an academic journal, released periodically, to its research partners and authorized IPC locations.
Relevancy Updates
The IPC considers its curriculum and materials to be living documents. They are therefore edited and refined on a regular basis to ensure modernity and relevancy.
